The short version
I collect what I need to make and send your order, and nothing else. I do not sell your information. I do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What I collect
- Order details. The brand, set, colour and mix you chose.
- Your name, email and shipping address, collected at checkout so I can send the package and email you about it.
- Payment information, handled entirely by Stripe. I see the last four digits of your card and whether it succeeded. I never see or store the full number.
- Emails you send me, kept so I can answer them and refer back if there is a problem with an order.
Who else touches it
- Stripe processes payments and holds the order and address data that comes with them.
- Vercel hosts this site and keeps standard server logs.
- USPS gets your name and address, because that is the label.
That is the whole list. Nobody else gets your details, and nobody buys them from me.
How long I keep it
Order records are kept as long as I need them for tax and accounting, which in California generally means several years. Emails are kept until they are no longer useful.
Your rights
California residents have rights under the CCPA to know what personal information a business holds about them, to ask for it to be deleted, and not to be discriminated against for asking. I will honour those requests for anyone, Californian or not.
Email admin@klauscustom.com and I will tell you what I have or delete it, subject to records I have to keep for tax.
I do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages, which are necessary for payment and fraud prevention and are covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
