Why they last
Most budget holders are printed in the cheapest, softest plastic there is. Leave one in a closed truck through a summer and it goes soft, and a loaded drill slowly works its way off the wall from there. Mine are printed in a tougher plastic that takes a lot more heat before anything moves.
